Nectar-Adds-a-New-PhD-to-Expand-Development-Expertise

Meet our newest fearless leader, Steve wells! He has joined the team as our new Director of Operations, bringing with him a new depth of expertise for the Nectar Development team. A self-proclaimed “sensor guy,” Steve has been managing state-side and global development teams for many years, previously focused on sensors, hardware, and software. He has a BS in Biology and Chemistry, a PhD in Physical Chemistry, and has worked as a System Engineer, allowing him to provide great perspective across different disciplines and product markets.

Steve has introduced a new enthusiasm for Nectar Operations. Under his guidance the team has implemented a number of new processes and efforts including a facilities improvement plan. He helped lead Nectar as we expanded our offices, attained new shop tools, and with updating the new look-and-feel of our Long Beach studio.

In his life outside work Steve takes great advantage of the Southern California life. Being within biking distance of the beach allows for plenty of beach days. He also often spends weekends by the pool with his kids and grandkids. Steve and his wife fill their home with four-legged friends, too, and have rescued a number of middle age Boxers from a local rescue.

We are thrilled to continue to get to know Steve and keep learning from each other.
